Weapons In The Cold War

The Cold War was a tenses time between two types of government’s capitalists and Communisms. The Cold War stated after World war 11 when the Soviet Union turn many eastern European counties to communisms. The Cold War was also between the two superpowers that derived from World War 11 the United States and the USSR. The Cold War official started at the meeting of Yalta. The tensions of the Cold War started when the Soviets sent troops to berlin and block all roads to berlin. There might not been a full war but there were many weapons used or created during the Cold War that are very dangerous. Some weapons might not have been just physical object but words and documents. The advance of weapons in the Cold War was known as the Arms Race. The United States Would produces Long-range bombers more than the Soviet Union but the Soviet Union would produces more intercontinental ballistic missiles. The Hydrogen bomb will also be produced during the cold war; the Soviet Union would be the first to test the bomb. These weapons would put the United States in great danger during the Cuban Missile Crisis where the soviets would put missile in Cuba faces toward the U.S. The Cold War would form to different alliance in Europe NATO and the Warsaw Pact. They were created in the early stages of the cold war. NATO was made first to give help the countries boarding the eastern communist countries. NATO said if one of these countries where attack then the other countries would come in and help get out the communist people. The Warsaw Pact was the response to NATO and protects those countries near the western part of Europe. The Warsaw Pact created the communist bloc, which would act like protection for the Soviet
