When both sons of Judah died after they married Tamar, Judah told Tamar, "Remain a widow in your father's house till my son Shelah is grown ." (Genesis. 38,1 to 30) After Judah decided to go to Timnah in order to shear his cattle, Tamar did something that had a really bad outcomes which leaded to spread prostitution among other women. She disguised herself in order to sleep with her father-in-law which is a very bad decision and it counted as a sin. In this case, Tamar should be blamed more than Judah because Judah was not aware that she was his daughter-in-law. The Tamar's weakness is that she could not negotiate with Judah to find someone for her to marry with or propose something that not negatively affect both of them. Instead, she chose the worst way to solve her problem. Thus, Tamar played an awful role in this story and encouraged Judah as a man to commit a sin. The reason for focusing and analyzing character of Eve, Tamar and Potiphar's wife is to demonstrate the badness and the weakness of those characters. According to what were discussed above, these woman had a negative role in approaching the problem or they were main reasons to pose the problems that are mentioned in the book.
