At first I didn't like it at all, it was hard to follow, confusing, and boring. But the more I read it the less boring it was. I soon understood more things. But there were not many things I could relate to besides spending summers in a place where i'm much happier with my best friend. There were small things that happen that I could also relate too as well, like family members fighting over things, realizing things that have changed were caused by me and missing how things use to be. There is nothing from this book that I can apply to my life, or that I have learned from to make myself better. There were some similarities between myself and the main characters but I couldnt find myself learning anything from it. There are people who can relate and would very much enjoy this story. Someone around the age of the Cadence, has been through a tragedy that they were part of the cause and is having to find out on their own what happen. I can't think of anyone, besides younger kids, who shouldn't read this book the amount of strong language is very small so any level of high schoolers or even kids in middle school could read and enjoy this
