Compared to the cloudy and dark sky of which I saw earlier in the day, there was no doubt that the sky above us , in my mind, is a clear juxtaposition between heaven and hell.The bible references heaven as a place above the clouds, the big blue sky represents a clear opening above the clouds to “heaven”. To many people a blue sky would invoke the idea of freedom and calmness where as a rainy and cloudy sky would invoke sadness or suffering which is a lot like the image of Hell. I continued to watch the sky transform into the bright blue sky that represents the heaven that all christians, Muslims and Jews wish to reach. On the trail which sat comfortably on the levi had people who walked on the trail with the utmost calmness of which I am only now discovering. A man and his benien dog were walking on the trail, the man looking towards the ocean, smelling the breeze coming from it , and his dog pulling the leash while trying to run wild across the dirt paved trail.The watchful dog and the man represent our relationship with the one we call God, the omniscient being that many believe in. The man being aided by his bright golden retriever walking along the trail is nothing different than every person’s relationship with God on their path through life.
