Not only it disconnects students from the classroom, but also allows them in a social situation. On the Baylor University study survey over a hundred college students, one of the researchers, James Robert, astonished on the finding of the survey. Researcher James Roberts, Ph.D. claims that cell phones are the reason that students can’t concentrate in a classroom is because they’re preoccupied with their phones. Because many people are on their phones, they don’t interact with people that often and are unable to develop social skills properly. The Baylor study also concluded that cell phones are responsible for a negative impact on our social skills. Since people rather are one their phones and not interact in a social environment, this makes them behave abnormally and might fall into depression or have social anxiety. There are other reasons for abnormal behaviors like people might a traumatic event from their past.
