We Should Keep The Olympics

There is one question millions of people need to know, should we or should we not keep the Olympics? This is an important question because the Olympics can sometimes keep countries from fighting, but can also start fights between countries. The Olympics also show disturbing images of people falling or crashing and also of sports teams fighting. Even though the Olympics can cause many issues the Olympics are better for the world than not. They promote international peace, bring people together, and they provide great T.V entertainment and a stage for the greatest of athletes. To begin, the Olympics promote international peace throughout the world. The 2018 winter Olympics have many different countries being included, even North Korea. This will help America and other countries get along better with North Korea. Also, the Olympics show more sportsmanship that fights. As players shake hands and say good game to one another it helps maintain peace throughout the world. The olympic games do this when neighbors gather to cheer for a common athletes competing in the games. Also, this can bring people from other countries together when they are also cheering for a common athlete. Even though different countries speak different languages, many people can speak more than one language. Another way people can get together is at a restaurant or other common gathering for sports where people will go and cheer for a common athlete. A lot of people have lots of friends who they met at a sports bar. Some people might think that crashes and fights are reasons that the Olympics should be cancelled, but that might not be all true.
