“Nobody's saying our neighborhood is the Garden of Eden. Hell, some people say God avoids this place altogether. But it's been a good home to us, to me and my kids, who I'm proud of, 'cause every single one of them reminds me a little bit of me.” says Frank, the father of 6 kids, and probably more, in the show Shameless. Furthermore, the show Shameless is about the incredibly dysfunctional Gallagher clan. Frank the dad, is a drunk and a drug addict; Monica the mom is a bipolar drug addict who left long ago. The eldest daughter Fiona is left trying to fend for the family from the early age of 9 years old, then there’s Philip (Lip), who is extremely smart, he is constantly being told he is going to be the savior of the family; Ian the middle son is a homosexual, then there’s Debbie who is a very stubborn girl; next is Carl who is obsessed with crime, and causing mischief, but will protect his family at all costs. …show more content…
