Sex And Dating Class Analysis

During this semester of the class “Sex and Dating” we had discussed a variety of topics which include chastity and abstinence, pornagraphy, cohabitation, dignity and respect, love marriage, family, dating, and lastly two movies, “Groundhog Day” and “The Emperor 's Club.” With all of these topics comes a huge debate from the teachings of the church to the stance if the people. The discussions that we have had in class based on these topics have really influenced the classes thought process about it, plus it was a great learning experience. These lessons have not just taught me important ideas of the topic of Sex and Dating but it has gave the class a wonderful learning experience especially on topics that basically barely anyone was comfortable to even dare to ask a question. Hopefully we will be able to apply all that we have learned down the road. Today studies show that many teens today are actually not sexually active which has dramastically changed from earlier time where most teens were sexually active, but some don’t even think seriously about chastity. The church teaches that we should treat each other to be the way that you would like to be tried for. Along with that Mr. Whartenby had told us that we need to treat our loved ones just like we would want to be. If one has respect for an other than that is the key to a long lasting relationship. My opinion is that we should treat our boyfriend or girlfriend with respect and they will do the same thing for you. This helps but it will help a long lasting relationship but will show how much you appreciate another for all of the things that they had done for you.
