How to Make Scented Pinecone Christmas Ornaments
More and more individuals are trying to scent up their Christmas holidays. People will use scented candles, Christmas cards, sprays, and incense to bring out the smell of the holidays season.
One easy and very inexpensive way to do this is to make scented Pine cones. This is a great craft that can produce some very nice results. It is so simple that even children can do it.
The first thing that you need to do is go Pine cone hunting. Pine cones come in all shapes and sizes. Pick a place and day and go after them. Most times you can find them just laying on the ground next to a tree. For this project, pick up about a dozen.
Take them home and clean them. Your kitchen sink sprayer is good for this. Then just set them on a paper towel to dry overnight. There are three ways to add scent to them. Lets go through each way.

Grind some cinnamon, cloves, or a nice spice that smalls yummy together. Next mix one part glue and one part water together well. Now take a brush (foam) and brush over the entire Pine cone. Now, before the glue dries roll the cone in the powdered mixture. You can even place the cone is a sandwich bag and shake it up with the mixture. Take out the cone and set it aside to finish drying.
2. At a drugstore or candle shop, purchase some fragrances of the holiday season. Add water to the fragrance and put it together in a small spray bottle. Spray the cones to make them damp. Now place that cone again in a small sandwich bag and tie it up tight for the next 24
