This quote shows that in hockey, if you don’t take the shot you will always miss it. If you don't try you never know what will happen or will never succeed. Not trying can never give you what you want. This quote also shows, if you take the shot you have a chance of making it. This is important because if you don’t try you never know if you're going to make it, and if you do try you have a chance in making it. In my life, this quote describes the time I had an opportunity in school and in the tv show Fresh off the Boat. A year a ago I felt like the quote Gretzky describes metaphorically. In sixth grade, science had been my worst subject in school. I had a C at the time. Our teacher said we had a test coming up that could bump my grade up.
