Mr. Murgo could give his C.N.As a 25-cent raise and to them it really doesn’t amount to nothing at the end of the week just and extra ten dollars. So sometimes a situation like that can just back fire regardless of how much the pay is Mr. Murgo strongly believes that if the employee isn’t happy at the place of employment no matter the amount of money they’re making they still wont be happy. It’s a tough situation it’s a balance between money and work environment.

Reason being is due to the scheduling with a place that is that big being scheduled to accommodate all of the employees is a tough job. When and employee doesn’t feel like they’re being treated right they don’t cooperate with the schedule they likely don’t show up, they would pick up and do double shifts. At Waterview Villa right now they’re not having a huge problem with filling in those extra shifts. When they have those open spots the employees help to fill those spots in if they didn’t fell valued and treated fairly its more than likely they wouldn’t help to fill those spots

Why do you think they are both right?. I believe that Eaton and Mulholland acted with greed, not only because they were not honest with Los Angeles population back in 1905 when they started to build the aqueduct, but as well because their main intention was only to expand the city over everything. They did not consider the catastrophic impact that they will cause on Owens lake and valley. I am not saying that your opinion is wrong, but maybe you should consider how they actually damaged the valley? Do you think that all the damaged is worth it just to expand the city?…

The evidence is probably sufficient to conclude the pool house is a dwelling because its use and structure support the theory that it is an extension of the living quarters. The State will likely be able to prove the Hernandezes’ pool house constitutes a dwelling because the facts support that its construction resembles that of the main dwelling and that it is frequently used for similar purposes as the living quarters, such as eating, sitting, watching television, and hosting friends. As defined in ILCS §5/19-3, “a person commits residential burglary when he knowingly enters or remains within the dwelling place of another, or any part thereof, with the intent to commit a felony.” For the purpose of this statute, dwelling is defined as “a house, apartment, mobile home, trailer, or other living quarters” in which a person “actually resides.”…

If the wage increase for the employees is still zero in the third year, the job satisfaction for them will decrease, and even if they decide to tolerate this fact and stay in the company, their working efficiency will definitely decrease as well. For those good employees, they may feel like that the company did not value their hard-working, they may lose faith and expectation about this company. As for the employees who is dishonest and lazy like Dougie, they may think that even if they keep being incompetent and unreliable, the company will still tolerate them, and since their wage has never been raised for three years, they do not need to become a hard-working employee for a company like that. Essay Question 1 In chapter 10’s case study titled “The Case of the Missing Raise”; Marsha adopted the conflict management style called indirect conflict management strategy. This interpretation was derived, due to several key situations, beginning, when Carla Block told Marsha that she had spoken to Fred and he stated that she had “received one of the 7+ raises” she did not call him immediately to confront him about the increase she had thought to have received. This is further evident when a few days later a second colleague also reiterated the same results of the raises to Marsha.…

Lack of management involvement and motivation played a key downfall in the Portman Hotel. Management was over trusting in their belief that PVs were able to self-manage and self-motivate themselves. Also the PVs inability to move up, yet their broad job descriptions were a key to their high turnover rate. The concept shows that although this concept was popular in Asia, it doesn’t always “translate” to other cultures. Asia’s cultural differences, differences in costs, difference in labor systems, all played a role in their lack of initial success.…
