Watershed Project Pros And Cons

At the end of it all… We have reached the finale, the conclusion of this project. This crescendo of information has begun to reach its falling action, soon to become the dénouement. However, although I say all of this as if it was easy to reach the dénouement, it was not. I became frustrated and my nerves felt like they were shot from all the stress I was undergoing trying to get an interview. Of course for every low, there must be a high, and that came from just gaining information of a career that I love. I learned many things from this project that I am sure will help me later on. As I was searching and calling for interviews, no one seemed to answer my calls, leaving me stressed for the ever coming deadline. Looking for someone to interview was by far the hardest part of the project due to trying to squeeze yourself into someone else’s schedule, which did not always mean that you would actually be able to fit. Looking for an interview for this project was like looking for a needle in a haystack, almost impossible but when you find that needle, by golly are you happy. Another part of the project that caused me great frustration had to be from the Watershed moment, although it was minorly helpful, due to the fact that this …show more content…
The job of Emergency Medicine is not for the light hearted, nor is it for those who become a doctor for the high income. Emergency Medicine takes dedication and the need to think slowly in cases where you need to work fast, but if you make a mistake, it could kill your patient. You also cannot forget the amount of stress the doctors accumulate due to the job. I learned how I have some of these skills, while I have a hard time thinking about multiple things at once during a surgery. So perhaps I may not be absolutely fit for the job, but I am sure that with practice, I could be able to do well in the

This case implicated a challenge brought by the Western Watersheds Project (“WWP”), in which the Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) decided to grant a 10 -year grazing permit to LHS Spilt Rock Ranch, LLC (“Split Rock”), for four federal public land allotments in central Wyoming (“the Split Rock allotments”).1 The 102-page Environmental Assessment was published in 2009. Relying largely on the 2005 Rangeland Health Standards Assessment (RHS), it recognized significant ecological issues on the rangeland. The Environmental Assessment took into account five alternatives to address these issues, however, it merely studied three in detail.2 Two alternatives, discussed as “No Action” and “No Grazing,” were considered succinctly, but excluded without detailed studies.3 The EA did not analyze the No Grazing alternative because the 1987 Lander Resource Management Plan (RMP) had…

To perform the study, two streams were picked from different watersheds. In Carrollton, Georgia, Buffalo Creek from the Tallapoosa in the city limits was the first river we visited. This stream was next to paved roads, apartment complexes, and was located inside a paved park; urban area. The second stream, Yellow Dirt Creek, was located off a dirt road, with little to no houses close to it; rural area. This stream was part of the Chattahoochee watershed, and is in Roopville, Georgia.…

In general the job requires a person to use math and science skills to reason well and solve problems, determine long term solutions and treatment plans for patients, and accurately measure and dispense drugs to the patient. This job also entails teaching others, such as interns, sometimes working in large groups to problem solve, and being able to relate, communicate, and treat the patient as best as possible. In this occupation I believe that my strengths would be using my science and math skills to determine treatments, personal patient care, and accuracy and precision in the job because these are all things I have done well in the past. I believe that my weaknesses would be training others, working in a large group to problem solve, and managing others in general, however these are things I can and will work on. Overall, I think that personally I would be a good fit for the…

As I walked into the small building, that in fact looked very enormous at the time, I began to anticipate every answer I would give to the person who interviewed me, so that to them, I would at least seem prepared. Although I had practiced my interviewing skills that very morning, I felt anxious and worried. Not knowing what to expect, many different scenarios ran through my mind, all of which weren't making my situation any better. Questions after questions were asked, all which seemed impossible for me to answer, and I felt as though I blew the whole thing. After the interview, many days passed by, and I had convinced myself that I did not get job.…

The nursing profession is fortunate enough to hold an immeasurable amount of the public’s trust during their most vulnerable moments, in the hope of receiving optimal client centred care. A recent survey discovered that nurses are second to firefighters in a list of most trusted occupations (CNA, 2007). Moreover, nurses have the privilege of being in a self-regulated and self-governed profession. This means that the Canadian government believes that Ontario’s nursing regulatory body, College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), is best qualified to appropriately define its own members’ norms of practice and boundaries (Schiller, 2014). It is incumbent upon nurses to continuously justify that they are deserving of this honour by delivering uncompromised…
