A waterfall is a place where water flows over a steep vertical slope or cascades over a series of drops of rock steps. The shape or outline of the poem gives it the defining characteristic of a waterfall. Water moves continually through the water cycle of evaporation and transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and runoff or natural flowing watercourses in forms of rivers, streams etc. that most often flows toward lakes or oceans.
