Would you like to relax on a white sandy beach? If so, then Watercolor, Florida, is the place to go. It is located along the Gulf Coast of Florida in the panhandle along Highway 30A. Watercolor is known for its pristine white sandy beaches and its beautiful crystal clear water. Watercolor’s architecture is characterized by traditional southern home’s, combining nature and art to support many outdoor activities and a welcoming family environment.
The Watercolor community was designed by Cooper Robertson & Partners. This firm has tried to be ecologically friendly and integrate the natural environment to create a unique small town experience for travelers.

You might ask why is Watercolor so special. The answer lies in the neighborhood itself. The houses are all painted in pastel colors, always bright like the sun. The streets are full of people on their way the beach or the sports’ center. Watercolor is a beachside village with homes, shops, and restaurants. It is full of beautiful pine trees and pretty flowers. Most houses have beautiful porches and white picket fences. Watercolor is known for its unbelievable natural features. At Lake Watercolor you can fish and swim. The sports center has soccer, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton. Watercolor is known for having beautiful hiking trails and wonderful biking routes. In fact the preferred method of transportation for Watercolor is biking. In Watercolor on a typical day you build sand castles on the white pristine beaches, body surf at the beach, eat at the world famous Pickle’s cafe, go to a movie, bike along the beautiful beaches, and get a snow cone at the one and only Frost
