Water Skied Research Paper

Decent Essays
Have you ever water skied? Well, if you have never skied, it’s very fun. Especially when you're on only one ski. The first time I ever got up on one was so much fun. The camp you will be staying at is off the coast of Southern California and is on the North Western side of Catalina. It is 22 miles from Los Angeles which is where you board the ship that takes you to Catalina. When you are outside (or sometimes even when you are inside), the temperature is normally really warm and sometimes humid so I would suggest bringing and applying sunscreen in the morning and after every meal. Some of the native plants are eucalyptus trees, pine trees, moss, and cherry trees. The cherries that are on Catalina Island are different than what we are used to.…

It was a sunny 56 degree day here in Beaver Creek, Colorado and I was ready to make my snowboarding debut. I woke up with a spark of energy and I was ready to go up to the lift, but first I had to go and get my purple and black snowboard. After I had my snowboard in hand I walked outside. While I was making my way up to the lift, my stomach was flipping 100mph and I saw all of the kids struggling to get on the lift. I was praying to God that I would not fail while trying to get on the lift.…

As my Mathematics professor always says, “Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.” For some people who live in the third world countries such as Ethiopia and Sudan, even a few dollars or a cup of water is a great help. However, in today’s society, most people only care about themselves and forget to think of others in need. Less and less people are willing to help others. Moreover, some people once accepted help, but they forget that many are like them that need help.…
