What I thought about the water portfolio that we did for our science unit was that it was a good way to teach us about this unit. Despite the fact that I would prefer to have tests, quizzes and more textbook work, I do find that this water portfolio assignment is still an effective way to teach students. It was enjoyable to work on the water portfolio and to experience a new way of learning rather than the common way of it being mainly textbook based and with more tests and quizzes. Additionally, creating a water portfolio was less work and more enjoyable than having to study each lesson for hours and to prepare for tests and quizzes. I find that the water portfolio was an easier and faster way to get through the unit and it may have conveyed
