The one extracurricular activity that is most important to me is water polo. Despite only participating in the sport for three years, I gravitated towards it more than anything I have done. It has taught me life lessons I could not have learned in other activity. For instance, when my team was losing and less than a minute was left in the game we did not give up. We wanted to do better. Even if we could not win the game. We would win that moment. It taught me that sometimes the outcome is not all that matters, it's the progress. The work we put in will show itself one day.
