One small piece of waste can cause numerous issues for marine life. For instance, turtles eat plastic bags and litter wraps around bird wings or legs. This image uses the magnifying characteristics of water to prove their point that while it may appear to be a minuscule problem on the surface, it is an immense problem for the underwater world. Each piece of trash, no matter how small, causes deathly effects on the surviving marine population, showing the viewer that their view of the world is distorted since they cannot see the full picture.
