Water Fishing Narrative

But not today. I jumped into the water, put the skis on, and was holding the rope in my hands. Laying back in the water thinking “This is gonna be easy” then “Bbb RRrr” the boat was off and the only place I went was back in the water. It was just a couple weeks before my freshmen year of high school and we decided to go boating with some family friends. The whole ride to the river all my brother could talk about was how excited he was to go water skiing and how much fun it was last time he did it. We stopped to grab the skies and my brother jumped out wanting to go first. He got all ready and off the boat went cruising along the river for a while until he finally got tired and just let go of the handle. He went a long way and it …show more content…
But I took the congratulations anyway. Over the course of this experience, it pushed me to see if I’m really capable of doing and what I might not be the best at yet. But hey obviously I can say I can water ski now! Maybe not as good as my brother yet but

After being pushed out of the dock area I started to paddle as if I was a pro and turns out I am pretty good at it and starting paddling away as my son sat giggling and screaming with joy. It was a tad scary because I didn’t want him to fall in but he behaved pretty darn well if I do say so myself. I paddled for an hour and a half until my arms got sore so I had switched my son for my mom. Being out in the country my mom had no signal most of the time but she found signal in the middle of the lake and decided to have me sit there while she posted on Facebook. Soon after that it was time to get out and go…

My dad kept making the motions for me to breathe slowly so I stopped and just breathed. Our dive was basically already done so we started to head up. As soon as we got up I asked Nick what happened and he said he just felt sick. We went to our second dive and I felt more relaxed. We swam around and I enjoyed all the bright colors and assortment of fish.…

I was getting picked up at 5:30 to go pick up my uncle’s friend then head to Lewiston to launch the boat.…

I could feel some type of tickling of nerves all over my body; it was awesome to ride a water motorcycle. After a couple days, for our last day of vacations in Puerto Vallarta, we went on a cruise to a small island. The boat that took us there was immensely big. I thought that getting inside that boat could take my life away I didn’t even know if it was safe or not. But the boat had all types of things from a pool to a restaurant, Internet, and video games, which made me forget about the perils of a boat ride.…

With my girlfriend living so close I made it through the school year without having to ride the bus and I always had a ride when we wanted to go places. I soon began to lose all interest in driving, which at one time had been one of my favorite things in life. It was not until I started work for the summer that it set in that I would soon need to start driving again. I had applied at a marina in Deltaville Virginia near my grandpa’s house and was hired on the spot. I have always loved the water and wanted to get away from the busy city for the summer but I soon came to realize that not having a car and the fear of driving was ruining my work plans.…

Just a few minutes pass by when suddenly my father as well caught a largemouth on his fishing line. As my father and my brother continue to fish they were catching one after another. I started to fill unease since nothing would bite on my lure, and as my sorrow for being unable to get anything grew. I decided to switch on a different strategy so I began to walk tour a different spot on the pond, and move to a grassy area near the water bank just a few steps from where we had pulled over with the truck. On my first, second, third, fourth and fifth cast I stroke nothing, and began to fill unease again, but it dint stop me because just when I thought it was hopeless for me on that tenth cast, “bam” something had caught up on my line.…
