On Thursday, March 16, 2017, I found Water'd Down Sprite member Cooper Barnes at lunch. Because someone at my table was not familiar with the infamous band, I decided to interview Barnes. The other members of the group are Dayton Bissett,Tyler Boone, and Dylan Aspelund. All four members are students at Smithville High School and are part of the high school's symphonic band. Barnes explained that Water'd Down Sprite formed around a year ago and that Bissett is their main songwriter. Barns described their musical style in three words: "satire" "comedy", and "mediocre". He stated, "That's our goal: to make the cringiest videos…To make people cringe." He declared that "Save the Whales" is the music video people must watch out of all their videos.
