I, KeeAndre’ Johnson am a 17 year old boy in Atlanta, Georgia, and I go to Wastlake high school. My life has been real hard, i've always struggled with being bullied. My dad passed away in the 1st grade I didn't think of it so much then, but as I grow up and mature I start to realize how much of a loss he was to me and my mom. We've struggled financially since my fathers passing, but my mom and I are staying strong through the hardest times.

Stage 1 I'm about a week into the school year and I'm really electrified for this school year, although I'm a bit scarce. I have wonderful teachers, but the one that stands out most, and my favorite, is Mr. Bardoni. He really stood up for me my first day this year at Westlake. As I was at my locker, I sensed a group of four maybe a fifth, I didn't want to stare, approach me. I didn't know what to say, so I

Just be a dumb nerd like you always have been.”

They all stormed away, moving down the halls like a tornado, pushing everyone in their way to the side causing mayhem. I thought to myself how idiotic they all sounded, “Did any of them have any brain cells?” I thought to myself. As the bullies left a trail of fallen books and binders, I noticed a guy on his knees, picking up his belongings but as I looked at him he seem sad. I decided to go and try and help him but then I noticed the bullies pacing back.

I tried to play it off, so I just walked backwards and turned and walked to class. I turned my head over my shoulder to see if they had still been walking, but they had stopped at another kid, so I waited it out around the corner. I walked back because I didn't want to be in their way. Anytime they see me they just pick on me for no reason. It really hurts. So I thought of how that guy might feel. He seemed sad, so I got over it and walked back over. I never got help, I still rarely do, so if I can potentially help out someone then why wouldn't I.

In the article “The Little High School That Could: Teacher Urges Latinos into College-- and is Not Rehired.” Beverly Beyette discusses the controversy ; that surrounded George Shirley at Alisal High in Salinas, California. Shirley was an English and History teacher at Alisal High in 1986, and he is well remembered as the teacher who pushed Latino students into some of the most prestigious universities in the country including some Ivy League universities. This story swept the whole country by storm because Shirley did the unthinkable and got 72 of 84 students into great schools but was later terminated from his position at Alisal High and was not rehired, and this caused many problems because some believed Shirley was an unfit teacher for writing some of his student’s college essays others will argue and say he was a great teacher. I agree with those ; hence, who think Shirley was a great teacher because he actually did something for his student…

Rudy hated to go home with his left ear bleeding and his right eye almost closed. Once again, he had another dreadful day at school. It all started when he walked in to school twenty minutes late, wearing his extra short pants and the ugliest sweater he owns. “Today is going to be a good day, but I hope I don’t get a detention for being late,” he thought as he shuffled inside quickly. Just as Rudy got to his locker, the rude eighth graders shoved him inside.…

I sat at the table, surrounded by people, and yet still alone. I looked up from my lunch, and met the sneer of the boy across from me with a smile. No, I was not eating dog vomit, but thank you for asking. I wasn’t sure how the food had any sort of resemblance to my face, but everyone else seems to agree. Turning away, I continued to eat, alone.…

Narrative Essay About a month before the end of 7th grade, my mom walked up to me and asked if I wanted to go to a magnet school, this is a school that offers higher level classes with a more problem solving based directive. Now, at this point middle school had been kind of a bore; there was not much to do in middle school, so naturally I agreed without thinking. The classes I would be taking would be with the same group of students throughout the day, no intermingling. The brochure and further information made the school sound great, “rigorous course work”, “Hands on activities”, the like. It was a bit misleading though, this school was just an average school with average people.…

    Why Is Bullying Wrong

I have taken a stand for my friends because of bullying I have always found bullying wrong because it gets annoying after a while so to those who are being bullied just snap already and punch him because after that the person won't bother you for a while and if you have to do it again don't worry because the person deserved it, if you get in trouble don't worry about it because usually the punishment is better than being bullied for dumb reasons, so just don't let the person mess with your head or anything cause if you let the person do that he wins because the person got what he wanted to happen so don't let the person get the joy out of bothering you, so just dont them get on your nerves you could also tell a teacher but if they don't do anything take matters into your own hands do not think it's your fault also don’th not think skipping school will work because eventually you have to deal with them you should not keep it to yourself tell your friends or someone you trust I would not recommend telling a teacher or any adult because that most of the the time the person will most likely do it even more than before also don't hurt yourself it is not worth it. You should find out his weakness and exploit it and use it against that person to get your revenge and after words he will most likely not mess with you again if he does you know what to do also just don't care it work…

Through the lies and starving eyes of the monster, called life, with the nickname of high school, there was always someone lurking around every corner waiting to knock down its next victim. Waiting for someone to doubt themselves just for a second so they can whisper things to ravage everything that they have or will have. It was at the commencement of high school where I realized that we were the verdant people celebrating that everything was just one sizable voluminous fantasy and that everyone could be confided in our group of friends. I slowly had this realization back when I trusted my friends not to abandon me when I struggled to control my clandestine shadows. Ha sounds a little hysterical when you say it that way a battle of my own shadows.…
