Waste Management (Paragraph.3) In the futuristic city of ours which is located in Hawaii, we have many ways of disposing our waste. For example: our electronic waste, we have a collection week twice a month, and we collect hazardous waste from local residences and others. This process is completely free and economic friendly. The electronic waste which is given will not be “wasted”, it will be used towards our robotic systems, which contribute to jobs that humans cannot do. For example, maybe a lego robot will contribute to our waste separator sensors which separate all of our types waste. One of those problems are trash people coming by every week and collecting your trash. Not only does that harm the environment with pollution and use of limited fossil fuels, but also on a more minor note, it fills our environmental surroundings with odor. Another problem is the lack of, reduce, reuse, and recycling. These are problems that can be easily addressed by taking one extra step. That one step which is putting something in your recycling bin instead of trash bag is a way that could contribute to our Earth not being contaminated with so much waste. It is up to the residences to keep it at a limit, and depending on how much trash they put into the insertion, that will affect their bills, when they pay their taxes. This idea might seem like it deducts jobs from the trash workers we have today, but this will create another opportunity for them to receive a more interesting job which pays more, and it doesn’t require specialities. This job will be the manual sorting of trash by machine. Their responsibility will be to, look at every piece of trash that comes by, and on the screen choose whether it qualifies for reusing. This will also save our city from wasting tons and tons of reusable and recyclable materials. And at the same time, open up more job
