Was World War One inevitable? World War one has established such an unforgettable memory in history books and for the all the people that witness this tragic and unique event in history. Throughout the years prior the Great War, there were two major alliances that appeared in Europe. You have the Triple Alliance that is made up between Germany, Italy, Ottoman Turks, and Austria. So, if you think about if any one of these countries was attacked for any particular reason. Then all five of these countries would have to join the war.
