Oskar Schindler was a greedy and cruel man before he became a hero of over one thousand Jews in the Holocaust. In the beginning, Schindler's main priority was to create profit during the war. He bought factories that were confiscated from the Jews and paid for them to work under him. He then joins the Nazi in order to become even more successful and wealthy. Schindler had no sympathy for what situation the Jews were dealing with at the time. He only did things to that would only benefit him.

Schindler was known as a profiteer, womanizer, and a Nazi party member. Schindler was as selfish as could be before all of these tragic events occurred to many Jews he knew. He has lived a very wealthy lifestyle without much issue. At the beginning of

Oskar did not like the fact that the people whom he bonded with has been taken away from him and killed in front of his own eyes. This may be because his close accountant is a Jew and has been mistreated and neglected by Nazis. As a result, Schindler begins to bribe Nazi officers for more Jews to be sent into his factories and slowly puts his life on the line to save as many Jews as he can. Oskar even took those who were weak and unable to work. Each time, he would bring himself to pay more and more money. He spends almost all of his money to save the lives of a race that he did not even know of completely. The workers under him were given the best food, clothing, and medical care that Schindler was able to afford. Schindler was arrested multiple times but, that wasn't enough to stop him from doing what he believed was right. Soon, he started selling Jewish properties to help aid his workers knowing the consequences of what will happen to him if the Nazis discover what he has done. In the end Schindler feels sorrows due to the fact that still many lives were taken away and he wasn't able to save everyone. Being a part of the Nazi party allowed Schindler has connections with other Nazi officers. Oskar Schindler is a hero many Jews currently living across the United States and Europe. Schindler was an ordinary man with extraordinary power that he used to save one thousand human lives during the Holocaust of World War II. He accomplished tasks that many people could not do on their own. Many people who were part of the Nazi would simply say, “I was just following orders”, but Schindler on the other hand fought for the Jews and took many sacrifices which lead to this point. No matter what obstacles he had to face, he still fought through it because it was for the people who he truly cared
