The God-Man
The deity of Christ is something that people have been questioning for centuries. How should the Christian of today respond to these questions? Was Jesus truly God or just a great man? Also if Jesus is God does that mean there is more than one God? How can they both be God? People have had many thought about who Jesus is. Some call Him a prophet, some a good man. This question is not a new one; was Jesus truly one with God? We even see examples in scripture. In Luke 9: and he(Jesus) asked them, saying, whom say the people that I am? They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again. He said unto them, but whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said The Christ

If a person wants to share their beliefs with another person, then they should start by understanding that person’s views. There are many different opinions out there, but, some are more popular than others. One opinion is that Jesus was only a good man who went around teaching people. This argument is probably the most prevalent today; mostly because it does not commit to one side or the other, it just rides the proverbial fence. In the words of Josh Mcdowell, “Jesus claimed to be God. He didn 't leave any other option open. His claim must be either true or false, so it is something that should be given serious consideration.” (McDowell) Another opinion is that Jesus never existed at all. Where this one is not quite as prevalent, mostly because There is so much reputable historical proof other than the bible that He existed. One of the most reputable sources that say Jesus existed is a historian named Josephus. He never claimed to be a follower of Christ, but many of his writing a line with facts found in the bible. He lived around 40 A.D which would be around four decades after Christ’s death. He wrote in a manuscript called the testimony of Josephus. Saying: “…Around this time there lived Jesus, a wise man if indeed one ought to call him a man.” (Mykytiuk) So he does not come right out and say that he is God but he does say that He

Who Was Jesus? Throughout history, the idea of Jesus; who he was; what his purpose was, and even his existence has been questioned. But through many readings and accounts from his followers, it can be seen that those who did follow him, and did believe him and believe in him, saw him as many things. His followers saw him as a teacher, a healer and, most importantly, as Messiah, or Christ, who would be the Saviour of the world. To his followers, Jesus was Messiah (Christ), Son of God.…

The question of Christ’s deity may be the single most important question that the Church has to face today. Many today claim that Jesus was just a good teacher and that he himself never claimed to be divine. In Islam, it is believed that the Christians corrupted his teachings to say that he was the Son of God. However, through this apologetics course, it has been shown verifiably that the New Testament is reliable and uncorrupted. This means that what Jesus says in the New Testament is most likely the most accurate version of what he taught.…

I think that most, if not all Christian religions, see Jesus as being an important person in history. The problem with this though is that each branch of Christianity sees his importance differently. There is no denying that Jesus actually existed, but what is argued is whether or not he is who he claimed to be. The way I see it is that Jesus was so full of information and good word, he wandered around preaching about God and his will. Now unless Jesus was some crazy person with a strong imagination and great public speaking skills, I think he gained his word and knowledge from God his father.…

He talks about how the disciples make Jesus their god and “they came to understand this claim in so many different ways.” There are certain dogmas in Christianity that must be believed to be of the Christian faith, but we also have many topics that we have varying views on that still fall into correct Christian belief. The Bible is not specific about a lot of different things that people have questions about. We can read the bible and make speculations or theories, but somethings we will just never fully understand until we reach heaven. As long as a theory does not go against the Bible it generally is allowed to be an accepted view point. Knowing that Jesus is fully God and fully humans is not one of the topics which we have an argument about.…

During my early Christian life, I often wondered how does the God look like? I heard people saying testimonies that God spoke to them, they heard the voice of God. But really, Does God speak like normal humans? For me, God is beyond my expectations and he is extraordinary. After reading the article “The Ineffability of God” by Ron Rolheiser, I could easily relate most of the parts mentioned in the article to my life that is, I always escape from thoughts about God’s appearance because I’m confused of being skeptic about God.…

Therefore, it is not young as he thinks and compares to other religions. Moreover, this redemption through Jesus Christ is the ground for the faith of the believers throughout history, whether they are Jews or Greeks or any races in the world. The message is one because “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) In other place, we see another contradiction in his article since he said Christianity is just an interesting made-up story as any other kind of fiction, at the same time, he said the growth of Christianity and its impacts in the history of mankind are “undeniably true”. If the impact of Christianity on humanity is true, then as a logical conclusion, it cannot be just a fictional…

The only hope for men is found in the Son of God Jesus Christ. Some pastors or ministers only preach the Gospels or Psalms or other favorite passages. There are many parts of the word of God which they don 't preach about. Others preach continually about salvation, but do not help people understand how to live a Christian life. John 3:16 is an amazing verse, but in the bible there 's more than John 3:16.…
