Global exploration changed the world in ways that could not be placed in the single principle of only being good or only being bad. There are so many places to see on planet earth, and so much to learn from those who live on it. So of course people want to see it all, but what about before people new that there was even a western hemisphere? People during those times probably felt either scared of the rest of the world or had an even greater pull to "nd out what all of it really looked like. Global exploration was a good thing because it allowed people to "nd out how the rest of the world worked. It was also bad though, because the ones who were doing the exploring spread diseases and occasionally started wars.

To the settlers in America this was a new life, a chance to start over and to be a part of something that would change everything. Mostly exploring lead to new discoveries and trade in goods between the peoples. To those who explored Asia and Africa, Knowledge and beliefs were exchanged, and people gained a wider view of the world than ever before.
Because of trade in knowledge, new ideas and inventions could be made possible.
Explorations lead to more intelligent peoples who went on to change to world.
By this time you might wonder what it would be like if nobody ever explored the world. What would people be like if they did not get involved with others?
Thankfully we have a good example of what that might be like, and that example is the country of Japan. Japan kept itself isolated from the world from the 1600’s to
1853. During this time the country did not change very much, and their government and culture remained for the most part the same. So by blocking themselves o- by the rest of the world they kept their culture pure, and they kept themselves safe from other people’s wars and diseases. The problem with that
