In the text it states,” The prince took charge in companion cavalry at age 18… Alexander became king of Macedonia at the age of 20.” This quote proves my opinion because he was in charge of the cavalry at a very young age, and he was responsible for the cavalry. Another piece of evidence to support my claim is,” Alexander’s army consisted of 40,000 soldiers… by a lion.” This quote proves my claim because he had lots of people in his own army that would protect Alexander’s citizens.
