Was Alexander The Great, Really That Great?

In my opinion, Alexander was not great. If he was great, he was only great from selfishness Alexander was a very young king who lived in macedonia. His father, the former king was murdered by an old guard, therefor he was forced to rule the entire kingdom in his twenties. Alexander was both strong and smart which did make him a good general, but did it get to his head? He then formed a ginormous army. Little did he know he was going to be an amazing conquer and ruling half of the known world.
