Alexander the Great was not so great, because he slaughtered innocent townspeople, was disrespectful to their dead, and killed his own men. The empire that Alexander created was disbanded soon after he died, showing the insecurity of his control. Many people were killed for no reason because of Alexander. Alexander the Great was not great. He wasn’t great because of many reasons, some more significant than others. For instance, when his company was cold he let them use coffins as fire fuel to warm up. He also killed his own men when he attacked a village, told the defenders to surrender, and then killed the ones who did.
