The Warsaw Pact was founded in Warsaw, Poland on March 14th, 1955. The Warsaw Pact was a Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. This mostly revolves around “Western Germany, which is being remilitarized, and her inclusion in the North Atlantic bloc, which increases the danger of a new war and creates a threat to the national security of peace-loving states.” The passage was referring to the decision by the US and other members of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) on May 9th 1955 to make West Germany a member of NATO and allow the nation to remilitarize.
