After that we then did the second warm up activity which was “Steal the law balloon from the blind king” where we have to steal the law balloon while avoiding getting hit by the power balloon that is controlled by the blindfolded king. I think this is a good representation on how King Creon in the play is blinded by the power he has which ended up making him lonely and miserable without any of his other family members.

The Brechtian technique was designed for the audience to not just watch and enjoy but to also actually think about what the moral of the story is. The structure makes it easier to convey the moral of a story because the actors can break character and talk to the audience. Sometimes the actors can control the audience, and in this case of this play it is good because King Creon can control if the audience boos, claps or anything. Since the lack of time my group also could not perform the second activity as well, but the other groups were very good because they performed in the style of Brechtian theatre by using humour so that the audience do not get to into the play and really think more about the
