The culture of the company first began with how the founders interacted with each other. Hunt, Gilboa, Raider and Blumenthal would meet monthly and provide a 360 degree review of each other giving constructive feedback of how they were running the company. This set of standards of being open and honest as the foundation of how the founders wanted the company to be formed. The culture and environment of Warby Parker not only is to be friendly and honest but provides employees the chance to gain leadership qualities and learning opportunities in order to advance. The particular standards of being open and honest are also attained and facilitated to the clients through their customer service department. This provides a good relationship to the consumer increasing sales, retainment rate while also helping and giving back to developing countries. This model was very attractive to customers because many customers are socially and globally conscious and want to support those that are disadvantage.
