A belief shared by nearly everyone against the War on Terror is that it is not doing anything. This is a flat out lie, the War on Terror has been going very well in the Western World. The War on Terror’s success is very viable, the US and their allies have gotten rid of many of the well-known terrorist leaders and supporters. Many of these supporters were rich families or political figures in those countries. As stated by Rich Mintzer in his book Keeping the Peace: the U.S. military response to Terror “Egyptian militant leader Mohammad Ayman Al-Zawahiri helped shape bin Laden’s militant Islamic beliefs”. Charts and graphs on Max Roser and Mohamed Nagdy’s Our World in Data show that in 2006 alone, there were 6,660 terrorist incidents, and in 2009, only three years later, there were only 560.
