Entry 1; War of 1812
The War of 1812 was the first time the United States declared war one anyone, one the reasons that led to the cause of the War of 1812 was the British impressment of American sailors, were they would be kidnapped and force into servitude, this disrupted shipping of goods and it violated American sovereignty. But from the British Impressment Policy, not only did it disrupted the American shipping to France (which both countries were at war at the time), it led an opportunity to gain new sailors to strengthen their war efforts. This also stopped the U.S.A to free trade, stopping them from trading to any other European country except England as a tactic form of economic warfare (During the time tensions started to rise and there were other who wanted to push for war, aka Warhawks like Henry Clay). Not only that the was also about religion for both side, in protecting the revolutionary ideals, Northerners will preserve God plan to extend democracy and Christianity across the states and throughout the world, while the South welcomed the war to create a nation that’s more perfect to God than what they had left. Which in the end the Union won the war, because the Union had many more people than the South (which some of the soldiers were slaves), also the North manufactured all goods in America (including firearms) and the North had twice the amount of railroad than the South, which this made it easier for the Union to move its army during the course of the war (even their agriculture was better in mechanization than the Southern farmers, although the advantages the South had was better military
