Does failing always lead to success? Most answers would be no, yet in the article "Want to succeed? Lose a little" by Rob Spiegel, he talks about the people that failed who we know has a hero. Research shows that most parent that have's kids that play sports would not accept failure from their kids. I once read a book. The when the narrator was once in high school he used to be a bully. However, once he got out of high school; he told us the reason's he uses to bully the boy. First was because he wanted the boy to notice him, second because the boy had a good relationship with his father, which the narrator did not have. His father told him that if he wants him to give him his time he has to have good grades. Since he was a B student, he did not spend any time with his dad.

Failing is a mistake, and everybody makes mistakes in life. I remember my junior year in high school; my father was teaching me how to drive in our school parking lot, which had no car. He woke me up and said "to come to Jeanie the car because were going driving"; and to be honest I hate driving it one of the worst things ever to me, I decided to go. We drove around, and I rather took it to serious but I still failed. However, I practice and was a good driver when I got in my senior year in high school.
So many people in today's life are afraid to fail, I know I am one; it just the fear of seeing the way people look at you once they find out that you a failure. Dylan Nicol Prompt 4 Impossible Perfection Emerson wrote, “Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow”. Emerson is correct in saying this because doing the same thing will create the same results, there is always room for improvement and one needs to try new things to succeed. To start off, if one continues to do the same thing, he will never see anything except the same results. If a designer creates a product that fails to work, he needs to change something to achieve success. If he doesn’t change the product and creates an exact replica, the product will continue to fail.…

Tiara Sykes Monday, January 16, 2017 African American History: Critical Reflection 1 Because of slaves’ deep rooted connection with Christianity, Henry Highland Garnet employs powerful rhetoric tactics in “Let Your Motto be Resistance” by using religious appeal and imagery to support his radical beliefs and insight revolution fever. Garnet begins his speech by personifying Christianity’s defilement; he illustrates, “...Christianity who stood weeping at the cross. Jenovah frowned upon he nefarious institution, and thunderbolts, red with vengeance…” (58). The descriptive image effectively demonstrates the destructive nature or slavery as it not only harms slaves’ bodies but also defiles their religion that they use to cope with its atrocities.…

Being a student athlete is a wonderful thing in high school, despite a lot of people only acknowledge the athlete part and not the student part. I believe that academics come first and if a high school student wants to be an athlete, then getting good grades should be a requirement. It should be mandatory for teachers and coaches to check the grades of student athletes weekly to determine whether students are performing academically well or not. The students that aren’t doing well should be dismissed from any further games and practices until their grades improve. It is important that student athletes maintain good grades because the work that they put into their school performance carries with them through life, putting too much of an emphasis…
