Walton presents his idea of a world without revelation. This idea is like we received a lot of pieces to assemble them without instructions, where we do not know how to putting together if we're putting in the correct way, and what is the purpose of what we’re building. Without a revelation we can only guess what the unknown gods wanted, is simply doing things blindly hoping it work ... It is a life without meaning, aimless and purposeless. If the main focus of this essay is based on the word revelation, then what it means? When the first humans sinned, and his sin broke relations with God, God did not interrupt the process of revelation, on the contrary, announced the salvation of all mankind. As time passed, God, led by his love for men, established successive alliances with Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, and finally sealed a definitive covenant with the people of Israel and made its people. Led by Moses, God promised the Israelites his law and worship Him as one God, and God promised to protect them from their enemies and give a homeland where they could grow and develop. For a long time, God was forming his people in the hope of salvation, through the prophets. Finally, the Word revealed by God reaches its climax in the person of Jesus who is the voice of God made flesh to communicate in the way we live the great truths of His will.
