Walton Arts Center Swot Analysis

WAC's programming can be analyzed by identifying strengths and weakness, and opportunities and threats. SWOT analysis provides a view into the overall health of the organization and programming. The mission of the Walton Arts Center is to bring international performing artists to Northwest Arkansas, and overall, the organization succeeds with this objective. Their leaders and board effectively articulate the organization's vison to their staff and community (Boyle-Clapp and Brown 2016, 128). Open communication and planning allows Walton Arts Center to experience growth and attract new visitors, and with a net gain of approximately $11 million, the center is managing well. Of course, the Walton Arts Center would not exist without the generous donations and sponsorships from several corporate sponsors, including Walmart. The different forms of communication reach a variety of audiences-the younger generation, the parents, and the senior citizen group. However, their marketing is both a strength a weakness because despite the many forms of marketing, their nearly 37,000+ Facebook followers rarely interact with the cultural's posts, pictures, or videos (May 15, 2018).
