In all locations, noticeably, all are well lit up areas. There are not real dark areas or scenes that make a huge effect. The only time that it is a little dark is when Mr. White and Jesse (Aaron Paul) are in the basement trying to figure out what to do with the drug dealer that they failed to kill earlier. Other than those scenes, the lighting is very bright, which in my opinion is odd, because Walter is trying to hide everything that he is doing, so dark lighting would have made sense, to depict suspicious behavior. The director’s choice is interesting, by doing so, it makes the viewer connect to Walter, to be on his side even though he is clearly breaking the law, and we (the viewers) want him to succeed.
In all honesty, this TV show is great, I personally did not care much for it nor did I want to watch it, but once I sat down and took the time to watch it, it surprised me. The acting was great, the editing was good, and transitioning between scenes was perfect. Overall, the show had very few flaws, or any that I noticed. The plot was not predictable, I was not sure where the story would go or how things would end up in Walter White’s life. That is what makes this a well put together show, and that is what has made this series so
