He finds himself starting to make decisions in the wake of this new information that his pre- cancer self would have never made, which makes for an interesting plot throughout the whole show. Rather than coming to terms with this impending death, he finds himself more alive than ever. Separated from the norms of society, and capable of crimes against other humans such as murder. As Walt moves from victim to victim, the viewer starts to realize the importance of survive at all costs mentality and is forced to question their own perception of the shows main character. The series drastically over exaggerates a cancer patient made noble through struggle by portraying a man betrayed by his own body who when becomes wiling to betray everything else life has given to him. A victim complex is something that many people tend to experience throughout the course of their
