Military Treatment Facility- Walter Reed
Walter Reed Medical Center is a full service medical center that offers medical care to active duty service members, veterans, retirees, and family members. In 2011, Walter Reed Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center became one unit called Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, WRNMMC. Since the increase in military missions and actions that have taken place the type of care provided has had to change and grow. WRNMMC has realized the importance of family and how each part of the service members support network needs support as well.
This facility provides patients outpatient and inpatient services such as routine medical care, cancer treatment, surgical services and mental health
