Walter Mitty was on his way home from work and saw that there was a new job opening at his favorite restaurant. He hated his job he had currently, so he decided to go in to get an application. He walked in with not much expectations, and somewhat worried. A young lady then asked how many people he needed for a table, walter then responded that he was there to apply. The young lady handed him the application and asked if she could have it back by friday. Walter then smiled shyly, and continued to walk home. As he walked into the front door, he heard his wife screaming his name, calling for him. Walter walks upstairs into the guest room to find her sitting on the daybed saying that she is bored and he is later than usual. She stands up and yells
