Do you know who inspired the entertainment world you live in today? Walter Elias Disney was born to Flora and Elias Disney on sunday december 5, 1901. I was an animator and an artist that put imaginations and great stories into films that people enjoy to this day. I, Walt Disney, have used my lifelong love and passion for art and cartoons to pave the way for today's entertainment and create a new type of film-making for millions of people to enjoy.
I was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago Illinois. My parents were Flora and Elias Disney, and was the second youngest of four siblings(2). We moved to Kansas when I was young because the neighborhood I lived in was also home to dangerous criminals(1), One of these was Al Capone(1). …show more content…
And that work started in Kansas. After i returned from the war in France, I became a newspaper artist(4). After a year of creating cartoons there, I decided to open a studio with my brother, Roy(4). We called our cartoons Laugh-O-Grams, and our short comedic cartoons were hugely popular at the local theater(4). Roy and I opened the Disney Brothers Studio, on Hyperion Avenue(1). At the new studio, I hired new animators including, Ub Iwerks, and Lillian Bounds(1). At this studio, some of my most well known films were created here(4). The Career path took is what made me who I am.
During my life I have done a lot to be known as notable. It starts with my love of art. My first attempt at creating cartoons for an audience started with Laugh-O-Grams(1). Many people enjoyed these cartoons, until we went bankrupt(4). The type of cartoons I created were film-length cartoons(3). One of these for example, was called “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”(7). Another piece that made me considered notable, was a short film known as “Steamboat Willie”(7). This film was the first synchronized sound cartoon in the world(4). Another Piece of my life that made me notable is my time in the military. I spent the time that I would’ve been in high school, in France during World War II. I Created propaganda to get americans to help troops in the war(1). Around the same time I was an ambulance driver(4), and gave medical help to wounded troops(1). This work led me to become
