So first we had to rent our snorkeling gear that isn't too expensive. I was not nervous of swimming around but what I was nervous about were the fishes. But before I got to go out in the deeper part of the bay with the cooler looking fishes I had to practice swimming around with the snorkel gear on. I was very confused on why sometimes when I would breath in the air would stop and make me start suffocating. But my uncle told me that I needed to try to keep my head up and not look down too much because the breathing tube would block the airway so if you went too far down it wouldn’t let the water in and just close the tube. Then once I got the hang of swimming and breathing properly my uncle took me out into the deeper ocean and seeing all the beautiful fish. I have seen fishes like the ones I saw on tv before but there is something about seeing it in person that really makes you appreciate what life has given you like the fishes. In person you get to notice the little details you do not get to see on a screen at home. For example like how every fish is unique in its own way from the pattern to how it swims. The highlight of snorkeling was when I got to see a giant sea turtle. When I first saw it I thought it was a shark creeping up on me. The turtle was probably the size of a five year old kid. As it swam past me it felt like it was slow motion and I remember the different shades of green on the turtle's back. And how while it was swimming away it looked like it was waving bye to
