“We believed in our idea- a family park where parents and children could have fun together,” Walt Disney once said (Fanning 167). It is hard to believe that Walt Disney World was once just land. People’s ideas, thoughts, and actions helped Walt Disney World to become what it is today. Walt Disney World is known to most people as the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” There are many reasons why. The main reason is Walt Disney World transports you into a world where you can have fun with your family, where you can adventure, and where you can create magical memories that will last a lifetime.
Another reason is the technology of Walt Disney World. A new technology is the MagicBand (“Magic Kingdom Park Hours”). In 2013, the MagicBand was introduced

Space Mountain opened in 1975 and still goes twenty-eight miles per hour as it did in the past today (Burke 279). Another featured ride at The Magic Kingdom that just opened in 2014 is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which is also a rollercoaster (Veness 52, 97).
Magic Kingdom has many food options. Cinderella’s Royal Table is a restaurant (Burke 214). This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and you can also meet the Disney princesses at this restaurant (190). A quick-service option is Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café serves a variety of foods such as ribs and burgers (216).
The next Walt Disney World park that opened is Epcot. Epcot opened in the year 1982 (Veness 144). There are two main sections in Epcot: Future World and the World Showcase. At the entrance of the park, you will find Future World, which is mostly made up of attractions (Burke 301-302). Different countries from around the world make up the World Showcase. Countries found in the World Showcase are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada

It is Toy Story Land. Toy Story Land is going to feature new attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers (“Toy Story”).
The fourth and final park that opened was Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened in 1998 (Veness 239). Disney’s Animal Kingdom is “a convincing world where guests feel as if they have been transported to Africa, Asia, and even the prehistoric past” (Burke 331).
There are just a few attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. One featured is Expedition Everest. Expedition Everest is a rollercoaster that is based off the Himalayas and has a Yeti in the ride (Burke 337-338). Another attraction is It’s Tough to be a Bug! This attraction is a 3-D show that is based on the movie A Bug’s Life (334).
There are food options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. One restaurant is Yak and Yeti. Yak and Yeti serves Asian cuisine such as wonton soup and pork egg rolls (Burke 225).
