Walt Disney Impact On My Life

Often times people list family, friends, or people they grew up with as someone they admire most, but my person is someone I have known my whole life, yet not at all. Walt Disney is someone who has had the biggest impact on my life yet I was never fortunate enough to even live during his lifetime. Walt Disney had one goal in his life and it was to make those around him happy. Through his films, animations, and theme parks, he has a legacy that creates a sense of joy and happiness in many people today.

If there is one thing that I could achieve in my life, being the CEO of Disney is definitely at the top of the list. Just like Walt Disney, reaching a bigger dream requires smaller ones that lead up to it. Being an Imagineer for Disney or even working for Disney in general are the steps that I am looking to take to reach my ultimate goal. The internship in which I am currently devoted to has allowed me to get a sense for what the entertainment world is like. Through the creative aspects as well as the management, it has prepared me for the more difficult jobs that I will face on my journey to earning my ears.

Life isn’t about making money or having the best of everything, it is about doing what you love and finding ways to achieve the next big thing. Most people look at Walt Disney and see him as a man with a plan, but I see it as much more than that. I see the determination for providing happiness to people just like he did for his own children, and shared the feeling of unity and family with people he had never even spoken to before.
