It can be perceived that empathy to the environment and people can be related to buildings or a city. One of the examples that can be considered as key embodiment of such empathy is in downtown Los Angeles architected by Frank O. Gehry, i.e., the Walt Disney Concert Hall. To year 1987, the beginnings of this monument dates back when a munificent gift of fifty million dollars was decided to be donated to the Los Angeles community by Lillian Disney. In remembrance of her husband, Walt Disney, she decided to build a concert hall, now known as the Walt Disney Concert Hall. A sincere admiration for music and a great empathy to artworks was shown by Walt Disney, before his death. In the making of Fantasia, which was an animated movie, this sincere admiration and great empathy was reflected later in year 1940. With Leopold Stekowski, the renowned American conductor, this move was completed in close collaboration. As this architecture would be examined later, the Disney Concert Hall’s current free form structure and this historic collaboration, the parallel lines could be drawn interestingly.
