Walt Disney: Life Changer
Without Walt Disney where would we be today with movies and childhood memories. He made it so we have an amazing childhood memories and cartoons. Walt’s first famous cartoon character was Oswald the lucky rabbit.(Justdisney.com). You might not believe it, but Disney was the original voice for Mickey Mouse.(Wikipedia.org). Walt died from lung cancer.(Wikipedia.org). Walt Disney started The Walt Disney Company with his brother Roy O. Disney.(Wikipedia.org). Walt’s early life wasn’t the easiest for him. At a very young age, Walt Disney started drawing and was interested in it.(justdisney.com). His father was the only one in his family that didn’t except him drawing and making a living out of it, but his mother and brother, Roy, encouraged him to pursue his talents.(justdisney.com). In a very short amount of time Disneyland became a popular attraction to people all over the world.(biography.com). Over one year Disneyland hosts over 14 million people.(History.com). All those people spend close to $3 billion at the park on food, tickets, rides, and niknaks.(History.com). While building another theme park called Disneyworld Walt Disney passed away.(History.com). Walt Disney passed away at the age of 65.(themedicalbag.com). Walt Disney wasn’t feeling good one day so he went down St. Joseph's hospital and was diagnosed with lung cancer.(themedicalbag.com). The reason he was diagnosed with lung cancer was because he was chainsmoker,but wouldn’t let anyone photograph him smoking.(themedicalbag.com). Walt’s favorite thing to say was, “Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it they will want to come back, and see you do it again and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.” Walt Disney
