There he met Ub Iwerks, but things didn 't really work out between the two so Disney took a job with the Kansas City Film Ad service. He spent his time there making cartoon advertisements that were shown for one or two minutes between movies. After taking this job, Disney got a better understanding of this line of work and decided to go into business with Iwerks. Together they made a series of short films called Laugh-O-Grams. After the successful launch of this short series, Disney moved his studio to Hollywood, California. Overtime Walt expanded his work space and staff with the help of his brother Roy. His brother and business partner, Roy Disney decided to postpone his retirement in order to oversee construction of Disney World. Roy was there for every aspect of the construction process and made sure every detail was what Walter would have wanted. After the park was completed, Roy dedicated the park to his brother by naming it Walt Disney World.
