It was reported that females are paid less than males. The salaries of female workers are raised with a minimum percentage as compared to males. Duke said that female employees are kept away from the managerial positions to which they are capable. Another plaintiff stated that she was supervised by a male supervisor having less qualification that her. Those potential female candidates who did not get the managerial jobs despite of their qualification also share their views on media. This decision will have significant impact upon society. In most of the suits Wal-Mart gets success. This gives an image of favor granted from court to Wal-Mart as it’s a giant company significantly contributing to U.S. economy. Those people who want to get job in Wal-Mart will definitely think twice before joining even after selection as lots of cases where plaintiffs often lose, persuade the person to consider the professional attitude of the employer.
