Wal-Mart arranges all its products in a way that not one customers can get out of the store without purchasing something else they did not wish to buy. The milk in the back of the store, so that people with just one item on the list must pass by all the other aisles to get to the milk section. Customers must pass by islands and end caps with the most known and well bought items. These middle parts of the store are placed with deals and highly anticipated offers. They are placed there to entice the customers into purchasing more items and possibly go down the aisles themselves. This in turn makes it almost impossible to leave the store with just the items on the list. All the most important items people want or need for their home are put in the back of the store so that customers must walk past many aisles before getting to what they needed in the first place. The arrangement of groceries and pick-up stations spread throughout the store for the customer to graze upon is one of the many reasons Wal-Mart flourishes in business.
